2016 Awards - Gibson Hall, Bishopsgate - London

1st December 2016

The identity of the finalists of FAÇADE2016 will be a closely guarded secret until the evening of the exclusive and highly prestigious Glass Supper, the annual conference and networking event, which this year takes place on 1st December. As is now the tradition the winners of FAÇADE2016 will be announced and presented at the Glass Supper before an audience of some of the world’s leading architects and façade specialists.

The winners will presented by Chris Macey MBA, FSFE, former Chairman of the SFE and founder of the FAÇADE competition, together with a high profile guest. The presentations ensure that a World-Class audience of the highest calibre sees the winners’ work.

For 2016 the venue is the Gibson Hall, Bishopsgate, London. Built in 1865 Gibson Hall was designed by John Gibson who was known for his rich classic style. It was commissioned as part of a series of buildings by the National Provincial Bank of England – now NatWest – and was regarded as the finest of those built. In recognition of his work in 1890 the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) awarded Gibson its Gold Medal.
